“Got the chocolate lava cake! Love the innovative upside down design. Service and taste left one wanting. Cake was lukewarm, could have been heated up for a longer time. Gooey centre, not as chocolatey as I had hoped for. Vanilla ice-cream tasted cheap. Can’t complain for the price though. 5.8$.”

“Quality thick and rich chocolate here, just a tad expensive especially with the small portion. Ice cream melted quite fast too so you cant really be too slow about enjoying it. The chocolate milkshake was sweet but no too overly sweet. Overall, nice place to chill even though there is a dining limit. I think they have a 1 for 1 for their mini cheesecake too. May go back again when im feeling rich!”

Testimonial

“We ordered the Trianon cake takeaway for a birthday. Verdict: We absolutely enjoyed it. I honestly hate cakes where its chocolate on chocolate because it usually is really sweet and I get tired of eating it. But this cake is so well balanced. Its not too sweet and there are so many textures (see picture). To describe the cake to you please refer to the picture to actually see the layers. The cake comes in a square and is dusted with cocoa powder at the top. It also comes with a macaron and hazelnuts. You can request for them to actually add a chocolate sign with Happy birthday and the name of the person as well if you would like to. Surrounding the rim of the cake and the bottom of the cake is a hardened chocolate. The texture is similar to the chocolate covering on magnum ice creams but its much thinner and quite easy to cut through. There’s a layer of hazelnut sponge cake at the bottom in cream colour followed by the crispy layer of gavottes right smack in the middle with the chocolate mousse at the top. Simply divine. Hard to stop at one slice! 😋”

There are so many different kinds of chocolate cake, and the Awfully Chocolate All Chocolate Cake is one of the best. The dark-roasted cocoa flavour and the rich chocolate cake makes this a really indulgent cake. And the fact that it’s baked in Singapore makes it even more special.

They’re really proud of the fact that their chocolate is made from the finest cocoa beans, and that they use a unique method to ensure that their chocolate tastes great. When you get one of these cakes, you’ll know that you’re eating something special, and it won’t disappoint.

“Lovely chocolate shop! I love the white chocolate crème brulee. Prices are accurately shown for each cake, as seen in the photos attached. Love the packaging. Friendly and helpful staff. Seems like the shop design has changed a bit from time to time. No problems at all. I guess the shop has improved. The arrogant female staff mentioned in other reviews seems to be replaced by a courteous male staff.”

You’ll be having a bean-to-bar chocolate experience at Fossa Chocolate since they crack, winnow and roast cacao beans by themselves.

Now we like how Fossa names their chocolate bars after the countries from which they source their cacao beans, including the Philippines, Malaysia, and Tanzania. These chocolate bars are named as Harana, Semai Community, and Kokoa Kamili. Another fantastic aspect of these bars is their gorgeous packaging, which manages to be both simple and elegant.

Testimonial

“Fossa chocolate is an incredible store! I had earlier been a part of the ‘Chocolate Appreciation Workshop’s hosted by Fossa and learnt so much about beans, roasting, flavours and even how to eat the chocolate properly for the ideal flavour. It was one of the better workshops I have ever attended. Post that I recently made some purchases via the website and also from their locations. Across my intercations with them I found them to be a customer focussed brand providing exceptional service. And of course, love supporting local business. Love their honey orchard oolong and salted egg cereal flavours! And of course a great gift idea for your special ones especially the picnic set. Highly recommend!”
