Facial Salons Singapore: Why the Ratings Don't Help You Choose, and What Does (2026)
Contents
Fourteen facial salons, every Google rating read on 8 September 2026, and ten of them sit at 4.8 or above. The lowest is 4.3. That spread, 0.7 of a star across the whole category, is the useful finding: a facial salon's rating cannot tell you much, because almost all of them have one that looks excellent.
For comparison, Singapore's courier companies run from 3.6 to 4.9, a spread of 1.3. There, the rating separates the field. Here it doesn't.

The review count is doing the work the rating isn't
The ratings run 4.3 to 5.0. The review counts run 36 to 625, a seventeenfold difference. A 5.0 built on 143 visits and a 4.8 built on 625 are not the same claim, and the second is the stronger one even though the number on the front is lower.
Three salons here carry a perfect 5.0. All three sit between 143 and 254 reviews. None of the two largest sample sizes, Ceramique at 625 and My Cozy Room at 524, holds a 5.0, which is what usually happens as a sample grows: the average settles a little below perfect. A 4.8 that has survived 600 visits has been tested in a way a 5.0 across 143 has not.
What to look at instead
The specialisation. This is where the real differences sit. Facia Ginza does Japanese small-face treatment; Kew Organics runs an organic bar; Ceramique works with Korean non-invasive machines; SenseDeBelle handles contouring and hair removal alongside facials. Those are different services wearing the same category label.
The room. You Time is built as a single private room and has the smallest review count here at 36, which fits a place seeing fewer people by design rather than one nobody visits. Sample size reflects volume as much as reputation.
The lowest score is still 4.3. Spa Infinity's 4.3 across 116 reviews is the bottom of this group and would be a strong rating in most categories. In facials it reads as below average, which is a fact about the category rather than the salon.
Facial salons in Singapore: quick questions
What is a good Google rating for a facial salon in Singapore?
Higher than you would expect. Across these fourteen the median is 4.8 and ten sit at 4.8 or above, so 4.8 is ordinary here rather than excellent. Anything under 4.5 is genuinely unusual.
Which facial salon has the most reviews?
Ceramique Aesthetics, at 625 as of 8 September 2026, followed by My Cozy Room at 524. Both hold 4.8, and both averages rest on far more evidence than the perfect scores in this group.
Is a 5.0 rating better than a 4.8?
Not necessarily. The three 5.0 ratings here sit on 143 to 254 reviews; the 4.8s at the top of the table sit on 524 and 625. An average tends to drift below perfect as the sample grows, so a slightly lower score on a much larger base is usually the safer read.
How much does a facial cost in Singapore?
Salons here quote on treatment rather than publishing a rate card, and trial prices move with promotions, so no honest current figure can be given for the group. The price is worth asking for at the same time as the treatment length, since a cheaper trial often runs shorter.
What is a Japanese small-face facial?
A treatment focused on facial contour and lymphatic drainage rather than on the skin surface. Facia Ginza is the specialist for it in this group, holding 4.8 from 80 reviews.
Are organic facials different?
The products are, rather than the technique. Kew Organics runs as an organic facial bar and holds 4.9 from 159 reviews.
