Walking On Sunshine is a hair salon with an attached cafe at Orchard Central, so you can order food and drinks while you're in the chair.
The salon does the full range: wash and styling, cuts, perms, rebonding, colour and hair treatments. Pricing runs by stylist seniority:
- Wash & blow from $40, wash & styling $50.
- Haircut $50 with a stylist, $60 senior stylist, $90 director, $120 senior director. Kids get 50% off (0–12) or 30% off (13–18).
- Perm and rebonding from $160, and colour from $90 for a roots retouch, both scaling with hair length. Balayage and toner are quoted after consultation.
All prices are before GST, and senior stylists, directors and senior directors carry a surcharge on perm, rebonding and colour.
Worth it for: anyone in town who wants a full salon service, or a wash and cut with a coffee, without leaving Orchard.
