SJÖ Flora is a florist in the LTC Building near Serangoon, specialising in preserved and dried flowers rather than fresh-cut blooms. It's a small handmade outfit, so pieces are made to order.
They work well beyond bouquets. The range runs to bell jars, frames, jewellery boxes and table mirrors, plus preserved bridal hand bouquets and graduation pieces, in a spread of sizes and colours. Preserved and dried flowers keep far longer than fresh and need no watering, which is the main reason to pick them. You can add names, dates or a short message, and a greeting card is included. Worth it for: a keepsake gift that lasts, or decorating a room without the upkeep of fresh flowers, rather than a same-week fresh bouquet.
