Jovial Floral is a dried-flower florist in Ubi, run by founder Kelvin. Its signature is the floral easel stand, an arrangement built on an easel that the shop bills as a Singapore first, alongside dried-flower arrangements in jars and a weekly bouquet.
The jar arrangements come as named designs, each a mix of preserved and dried blooms with a different finish:
- Ikigai: white and grey roses, cotton flowers, hydrangeas and dried fillers, in a grey or gold jar (S$72)
- Sabbath: orange and cream roses, bunny tails, faux anemones and a pine cone, in a white jar
- Commitment: khaki and brown roses, a solar flower, pampas and ruscus, in a black-and-gold jar
Custom orders are by text: tell them the occasion and budget. Jovial Floral also runs as a social enterprise, supporting youth at-risk and sponsoring a child through World Vision International.
Worth it for: anyone after a long-lasting dried arrangement or an easel stand as a gift, rather than fresh-cut flowers.
Where: 57 Ubi Avenue 1, #03-01, Singapore 408936. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Saturday, 9am to 1pm; closed Sunday. Order through their website or Instagram.
