Preschools & Kindergartens Singapore

The question to ask yourself is not “whether having your child attend preschool in Singapore makes a difference for your child” but rather, “can I afford not to have my child attend preschool in Singapore”?

Early education can teach a child many skills and concepts, but it does not affect the cognitive and linguistic abilities of children who starts preschool when they’re four or five years old. According to a new study released in the Journal of Child Development, children who attend preschool perform better than their peers who don’t.

A preschool is a place that provides children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years with a broad-based education program. A curriculum is often provided, covering topics like language, mathematics, science, arts and social sciences. Some preschools also offer care for children with special needs.

With parents now working from home, it is important to provide your children with the independence and other life skills they need to become well-rounded individuals.

The Importance of Quality Childcare

The importance of quality childcare is not a new topic. It has long been debated that the quality of childcare can impact the future of a child. This can be seen through the many studies done on the effects of poor childcare on children.

This section will discuss how quality childcare can affect a child’s future and how it is important for parents to find high-quality care for their children.

What are the Benefits of a Preschool Education?

Preschool education can be beneficial in many ways. It can help kids develop skills that they need to succeed in school. They include a better understanding of the world, improved cognitive skills, better social development, and greater preparedness for the future.

A preschool is a place where children can learn and play with other kids. It is a place where they can start to explore their surroundings and express themselves. It is also a place where they can be more social and develop fundamental skills that are necessary for school.

How to Choose the Right Preschool for Your Child

Choosing the right preschool for your child is a big decision. It can affect your child’s development and progress in the future. The best preschools in your area will depend on the requirements of the family.

Some of the factors to consider are:

  1. What do you want your child to learn?
  2. What kind of curriculum is offered?
  3. What are the school’s policies?
  4. Is it accredited by a national or international body?
  5. How much does it cost per month?

Gug preschool is a great place for your child to learn and grow. The teachers are super nice and the facilities are top notch. They even have a sound studio and a creative zone. They have story readers for toddlers and preschoolers.

We had been to other kindergartens but this one is a bit different. They use a different way of teaching. They focus on early literacy and the children love it.

The staff are very friendly and the facility is really nice. They also have story readers for kids. We think it’s a good choice for parents looking for a preschool for their kids.

Testimonial

“We just read GUG was voted top 3 preschool in Tampines and wanted to chime in our Congrats! Our daughter first attended your baby enrichment program and we enjoyed the classes so much. That gave us confidence to enrol her to your preschool. Usually she is quite shy and clingy to her mama, so it was surprising how quickly she settled into full day program. This is assuring for us parents because it shows that she feels safe and is happy in school.”

There are two things that we think are important when selecting childcare for the kids. One, we want to make sure that the care provider is good with kids, and two, we want to make sure that the facility is safe. And it’s really hard to find a place that both of those things are true.

If you are looking for a place that is good at childcare, but also safe, and the Little Atlas Preschool seemed to fit that bill. It seems like a really nice, comfortable, and safe place.

The staff is really nice and attentive. They never had any issues with the kids getting hurt or anything like that, and the facility is really safe.

The kids seem to be enjoying themselves and having a good time. And the teachers seem to be great with the kids. They’re very attentive, and they seem to be really invested in making sure that the kids are happy and doing well.

We love how the teachers there understand the kids. They know what kind of kid they are and they know how to get the kids to do things. For example, one of the kids is really into cars and trucks, so the teachers would sometimes bring toys to the kids that are related to cars.

Testimonial

“Both my kids attend this childcare and I’m a big fan of the dual-lingo teachers that provide exposure in Mandarin and English to them. The teachers are caring, the Principal is reachable and the best part is that my daughter comes home with hair neater than when we drop her off. Kudos plus they now have a massive new school right next to Aljunied MRT.”

Tots and Teddies is a Singaporean preschool that provides high-quality childcare services to Singaporeans. They’ve been around for a few years now, and have a reputation of being one of the best schools in the country.

They’re based in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District, and they provide childcare services from birth to school age. They have a range of services that you can choose from, including their nursery, kindergarten and preschool.

The preschool is run by a team of teachers, a nutritionist and a chef, and they do all their work together to create a holistic learning environment. The curriculum is designed by a paediatrician and is based on a developmental approach.

It focuses on the whole child – cognitive, social and physical development – and they try to make sure that your child is learning everything they need to know. It’s quite different from other preschools because the teacher is there to support your child. It’s designed to be a place where your child feels safe, comfortable and happy.

The staff is very friendly, and the classes are held in a fun, interactive manner. It’s a great place to bring your little one, and they provide the best quality care.

Testimonial

“Finding your child’s first school is an extremely difficult task, but after having our daughter enrolled at Tots & Teddies now for almost 1 year, I can confidently say we couldn’t have picked a better school! The teachers are EXTREMELY caring and kind, they take into account your child’s specific needs and help them grow and adjust everyday. The founders and owners of the school are very involved in the day to day and work full time at the school – truly lovely people! We actually moved closer just to send our daughter here. My wife and I did extensive research in Singapore for schools for our 4 year old, and nothing even came close to the level of detail, care and attention that this school provided. Best decision we ever made!”

We are glad that she has been has been exposed to different lessons: from learning literacy to self-expression to music lessons to Chinese characters recognition to even making her own sandwich! This is a small childcare centre based in Singapore, but they have a very interesting concept when it comes to childcare. They see each child as unique and valuable, and have invested in making sure that they provide a safe, clean and fun environment.

They are also committed to the principles of the Montessori education system, and offer this to their children. This means that they teach them to learn through activities, rather than using a traditional textbook approach.

Each child is given a weekly timetable, which is designed to help them improve in a variety of different areas – such as reading, maths, social skills, art and music. They also give each child an opportunity to work towards their own goals, which is a great way to motivate them.

The staff at Our Children’s House also have a love for kids and the natural world, and this shows in the way they interact with the children. They try to create an environment where children can explore and play, without being restricted by age or ability.

Each child is given plenty of time to play, and they also have access to a wide range of toys and equipment, so they can explore and discover on their own terms. This means that they can also be creative and imaginative, and gain confidence in themselves and others.

Rain Trees is one of the few kindergartens I’ve seen that have a proper ‘play area’ instead of a huge play yard. It’s also the first kindergarten I’ve ever visited that has a proper playground outside, too. There’s an outdoor play area, and an indoor play area with lots of toys, games, and activities to keep the kids busy.

The outdoor play area is huge, with several play structures and climbing frames for them to use, and an actual sandbox to build sandcastles. The playground is very well maintained, and there are even two sandpits for the kids to dig holes and have a bit of digging fun.

The outdoor play area is also surrounded by a thick hedge, which helps create a nice barrier between the playground and the rest of the kindergarten, which is a good thing because it helps to keep the kids calm. There are also plenty of trees and plants around the playground to help block out the sun and give the kids a nice shady spot to play in.

Rain Trees also has a fully equipped kitchen, with lots of healthy snacks and food items available, so the kids can eat whenever they want. The food is prepared daily, and it’s always nutritious and delicious.

Overall, Rain Trees is a really nice place to bring your kid to learn. It’s well-kept and tidy, and the teachers are very friendly and helpful. The teachers are also very experienced with children, so they know what to do to help the kids learn. The kids also love coming to Rain Trees, and I can see why – it’s a really good place to learn.

Testimonial

“I have high expectations when it comes to where my children will go to school. After all, they spend the majority of their waking hours there. I expect it to be clean, organised and inviting. Rain Trees not only excels in all these areas but they go above and beyond on a daily basis to make sure the children feel welcome and enjoy their day through fun based learning. All the children run in with a huge smile on their face each morning and that, for me, is better than any review!”
